As The Two Wedding Photographers we have been lucky enough to work at many of the venues in and around Hertfordshire and the Home Counties, and we know a number of them exceptionally well. This gives us an edge compared with other wedding photographers because we have come to know the layout of many venues which means that we know where we need to be in order to get the best shots at any given moment.

One that we know very well is the Denham Grove Hotel in Tilehouse Lane in Denham. This is set in 48 acres of glorious parkland overlooking Colne Valley. When we photograph our couple’s weddings here, we work very closely with Sallieann Davis who is the hotel’s wedding co-ordinator. She has over 20 years’ experience of catering for and organising weddings and receptions.

Denham Grove Hotel was completely refurbished only last year and is licenced to hold civil ceremonies for up to 180 people in both indoor and outdoor locations, outdoors being in the Pavilion. White garden chairs are used for outdoor ceremonies. The function suites can holdup to 160 people for your wedding breakfast and up to 200 for an evening reception. There are also 100 luxury en-suite bedrooms so that your guests can book in and not have to worry about driving home after the event.

Leisure facilities available at the Denham Grove Hotel include a heated indoor swimming pool, Jacuzzi and sauna room, fitness suite, seasonal tennis court and trim track.    

The hotel offers a range of different packages for the wedding reception and there are also evening buffet options, including a summer BBQ. In addition, they can provide the house DJ for the evening from 7 until midnight, and they have a House Toastmaster available as well. If you choose the Princess Suite, you can also have ceiling drapes and wall drapes added, and for the evening you can have a white LED dancefloor and a white LED backdrop. They really have got everything covered at Denham Grove Hotel.

If you need a wedding photographer at Denham Grove, you can do no better than the two of us. We are familiar with the rooms and the grounds and we know how to position ourselves in order to get all the best shots. When you only have one wedding photographer, he or she can only be in one place at any given moment. However, when you have two of us we can be in two places. So, for example, you might want to pose in the grounds for some formal shots and while one of us is taking those, the other can be mingling among the guests getting some great candid shots that you wouldn’t otherwise have.

Or perhaps you want some aerial shots using our drone. Fran is the pilot and is fully qualified and licenced to fly by the Civil Aviation Authority.  He is also fully insured up to £2M. So while Fran is taking the aerial shots, Karen will be taking others on the ground. 

Of course, Denham Grove is not the only hotel with which we are familiar. Another is Chartridge Lodge which is only a stone’s throw from the centre of Chesham. This is set in 25 acres of parkland in the Chilterns Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and is licenced for civil ceremonies. Chartridge Lodge can cater for up to 100 guests in the elegantly decorated Lodge and up to 150 for an evening reception in the Orangery overlooking the delightful grounds which provide the perfect picturesque setting for stunning wedding photographs.

Chartridge Lodge also has a resident DJ, a cash bar and their music licence is available until midnight. Guests who are staying at the hotel can put drinks charges on to their bedroom bills after that time.

As The Two Wedding Photographers we are also familiar with many other venues in and around the Home Counties, but if you are booking at one that we do not know, it is not a problem. We will simply take the time to visit before the big day in order to familiarise ourselves with the surroundings and plan for your wedding day.
